The bar chart demonstrates some popular activities that children in different age groups do as their bedtime routines in the United State.
Overall, it is evident that the most common activity for children in all ages is reading while the opposite is true for eating that is done by children who is over 4 years old.
As can be seen from the chart, most of American children enjoy reading before sleeping, with the highest rating at 70 percent for children who aged 4 to 5 and around 60 percent for the others. Beside that, half of children who aged from 6 to 8 brush their teeth before going to bed, in comparison with 40 percent for children in the age of 4 to 5 and 30 percent for children in the 1 to 3 age group. In condition, there is around 30 percent to 40 percent children who having a bath before going to bed.
Looking at the chart in more detail, the percentage for children in the age of 4 to 5 watching TV is 20 percent, compared with approximate 18 percent for the others. Finally, 20 percent of children aged 1 to 3 eat before sleeping, it was twice as much as the other age groups.
