The bar chart illustrates the various types of hobies that boys and girls, who are beween the age of 5 to 14 paricipate in while living in Australia.

Overall, among all the activities, majority of the childern prefer watching TV or Videos; moreover, except for arts and crafts, the participation of boys in all the activities is more than that of girls.

Besides watching TV or videos, most of the boys spend their time by playing video games and riding bikes, which account for over 80% and around 70% respectively. The same is true for the girls but with a much lower percentage of 60% for games and a little below 60% for both bike riding and doing arts and crafts.

Furthermore, the one of least favoured activity in both genders is skateboarding or rollerblading, with less than 40% of boys and a little above 20% of girls. However, while arts and craft is popular among girls, it is the least favoured hoby for the boys with only 40% of them being interested in it.
