The line graph depicts a trended illustration of changing banana prize in four different countries over the periods of eleven consecutive years starting from 1994.

Overall, the price of banana increased from 1994 to 2004 in two countries which were Japan and the USA. Notably, Japan was the country where the higest banana price was observed while the lowest price was observed in the USA.

In Japan, an increase of banana price was observed in 1994 at appoximately 2 US dollars per kilogram, then rise to the peak of 2.8 US dollars, followed by fluctuated and drop at just over 1.5 US dollar in 2001. Next, the trend increased and reached at 2.5 US dollars in 2004. For France, the price of banana was steady until 1999, the banana’s price significantly dropped twice which reached at 1.3 US dollars and 1.0 US dollars in 2000 and 2003, respectively. Morover, the fluctuation trend also was observed in Germany. Remarkably, the banana’s price never higher than 1.50 US dollar in Germany. The price of banana start from just under 1.00 US dollars and rose, then steady untill 2004 were only observed in USA.
