The graph examines the number of attendees for different events—film club, martial arts, amateur dramatics, table tennis, musical performances—in a community center over a 20-year period, from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, while the number of participants in the film club rose unnoticeably throughout the whole period, the amount of participation in each event saw many dynamic changes. Despite this, the number of engagements in table tennis was only 18, making it the 4th most active event. Its active participants rose rapidly after 2010, indicating it was the most attractive sport, except for the film club, compared with others.
At first glance, the number of people who came to the musical performances started with the fewest attendees, at 0 in 2005. However, there was notable growth in participants starting in 2005, and by 2015, the number of attendees reached approximately 16, overtaking participants in amateur dramatics in the first decade.
Turning to activities, number of participants in martial arts and the film club remained stable over time: remaining around 65 for martial arts and around 35 for the film club. Despite martial arts attendees remaining stable, as opposed to those involved in table tennis rising so dynamically, the most attractive activity was martial arts.
