The line graphs show data about the percentage of trains running late and cancelled in a train enterprise between October and November 2008. It can be seen that, the proportion of both trains witnessed an upward trend with fluctuation over the researched period. In addition, the second week of October saw a highest delay rate.
There was a marginal increase of 10% in the percentage of trains running late from the first week of October to the second week of November. Although the proportion of trains delayed tended to drop moderately to 5% by the end of October, it stared rising sharply again which reached its peak at 55% in the second week of November. The performance of trains running late ended with 40% in the third week of November.
The percentage of trains that was cancelled grew significantly from 1% in the first week of October to 7% in the second week of October, which became the highest rate in cancelled trains in the whole period. After that, an erratic behavior was recorded in the proportion of cancelled trains in the rest of period, which ended with 4% in the third week of November.
