The bar chart presents data about the predictable transactions of four different types of books, which are “Young Adult”, “Classics”, “Mystery”, and “Romance”, from 2025 to 2029.
Overall, it is evident that the expected quantity of these kind of novels continuously changes throughout the period; readers tend to purchase books about Romance more than Young Adult and Classics, whereas Mystery stays at an average sale.
Starting with Romance, considered to be the best-selling during the four years mentioned, more than 80,000 books sold in 2025, and it rockets to the highest sales in the entire bar chart at 110,000 in the following year. While in 2027, Romance suddenly falls to about 70,000, thereafter recovering to nearly 77,000 and about 90,000 in 2028 and 2029 respectively.
Mystery is also expected to sell well, proved in 2025 when it starts at 60,000 books and increases to 80,000; despite dropping to about 45,000 in 2027, it reaches a plateau at about 48,000 and over 52,000 in 2028 and 2029 respectively.
Moving on to the last two types of books, in 2025, Young Adult and Classics start at 30,000 and about 20,000 books respectively; in the next year, Classics grows to 30,000 while Young Adult still maintains at 30,000. Although Young Adult drops to the same quantity at 20,000 in both 2027 and 2028, it then returns back to 30,000 books in 2029. Additionally, Classics experiences a decline; despite peaking at about 40,000 in 2027, it starts declining to about 29,000 in 2028 and 9,000 in 2029.
