The chart gives information about the annual water utilization between ground water and public supply by seven industries in an unknown country
Among the seven sectors, chemicals industries accounted for the highest number of water usage from both ground water and public supply, 430 and 240 millions of cubic meters, respectively. Following by metal industry which had a same number of ground water usage, 240 millions, higher than its public reserve approximately at 90 millions. Paper industry used more water underground reaching to 190 million, while the public supply just reached at 20 millions. Fuel and textiles companies also utilized ground water higher than the public store, 70 and 80 millions, respectively, and had same figure for the usage water of public supply at 10 millions. On the other hand, food/drink and machinery fields operated with public water resource higher than with ground water, 190 and 100 millions, respectively.
Overall, chemicals industries held the highest total amount of water usage from both sources making 670 millions in a year compared to the other industries. (174)
