The graph below illustrates yearly water usage by industries in Somecountry in millions of cubis metres. Overall, ground water usage has an extremely higher amount compared to public supply usage in almost every category.
It can be seen that chemical industries consumes the most water amongst other industries, with the amount of water from ground supply almost doubling its usage from public supply, using four hundred and thirty million cubic metres in total from ground water. The chemical industry’s usage from ground water has the most dramatic margin between categories with machinery industry’s ground water usage. This category also has the biggest margin between its water usgae sources, almost two hundred million cubic metres.
