The line graph illustrates the amount of air pollution by four different pollutants between 1990 and 2005.
It is clear that the amount of pollutants decreased over the period shown. While the rates of Transport were about at the same level.
In 1990, the total air pollutants were by far the highest, with about 7 million tonnes. The rates of Industry were lower, at about 5.5 million tonnes. While polluters of Transport and Households were just about a million tonnes. After 6 years, the rates changed a lot by decreasing, instead of Transport, even showed a small growth. The total air pollutants decreased to 5 million tonnes and the amount of Industry pollutors falled dramadicaly to 3 million tonnes, while the rates of Households showed a drop, by 50%.
In the next years, the total air pollutants continued their declining streak. By 2005, the total amount of air pollutants was about 3.5 million tonnes, with a not big difference were the amount of Industry pollutors. While the indicators of Transport were approximately the same as the initial rates, Households were at the lowest point for the whole period.
