the graph illustrates the Australian consumption of 5 different types of food ( Vegetables, Fruit, Meat, Bread and Seafood) in a period between 1950 and 2010. Looking from an overall view, It is apparent that vegetables, fruit and bread increased eventually while the meat has an dramatic drop. Meanwhile, The seafood has a steady rate throughout the years.
Starting off with the most consumed food, Vegetables was consumed in an average of 140 kg per person in 1950. After a decade, it started with a period of oscillations gaining and losing the consumption of 20 kg per person every decade until the year 1990 where a steep rise occurred reaching a peak of 160 kg per person. Similarly, Fruit and bread went through two increase and decrease in their consumptions but ultimately they rose reaching 140 and 60 respectively.
On the other hand, Meat had consumed steadily until 30 years later the number of consumption rose reaching 120 kg per person and followed by a continuous decline
