United States pays the big role in spending money on entertainment. Noticeably, United States spent about 184 million in 1995, that grew to 257 million by the year 2000. Publishing had the massive spending of money comparing to other forms of entertainments. Almost 100 million were spent in 1995 and 120 million in 2000 on publishing. On the other hand another major amount was spent on television as well. In 1995, television consumed somewhat 60 million which reached to 100 million by 2000. The music took the third place in consuming money as an entertainment for United States. Unexpectedly video and cinema consumed less money.
According to data, Europe spent about 97 million on entertainment in 1995 which reached up to 131 million in 2000. Following the same order like United States, Europeans spent highly on television, publishing and music, where video and cinema were in low spendings.
Asia also took interest from 1995 to 2000, the money spend on entertainment grew from 67 million to 110 million in 5 years. They highly spent money on publishing in 1995 which changed to spending almost same amount of money on television in 2000. As for Asia, the Publishing and television are maximum spends and music, video and cinema spend low.
