The given line graph illustrates UK population’s domestic access to different kinds of modern technologies in homes.
Overall, modern technologies’ trend was significantly rising from 1996 to 2003. For Instance, every second family in the UK already had an opportunity to buy a CD player in 1996. Moreover, in 2003 about 82 percent of British homes could afford a brand-new CD player. This example proves how rapidly given patterns were changing for over a 8-year period.
Regarding to the graph below, in 1996 only 18 percent of UK population had a domestic access to mobile phones. However, over a 6-year period the line graph was sharply rising up to 2002 when it peaked at 70 percent of the UK homes were able to purchase a mobile phone.
Turning to related to each other internet access and home computers, their patterns showed a steady growth from 10 and 35 percent in 1999 and rose to 45 and 55 percent in 2003 respectively.
