The number of international visitors to Asia, Europe, and America between 2000 and 2020 is depicted in the line graph. Overall, although Asia and Europe witnessed fluctuations, there was an upward trend in the amount of tourists visiting three countries, and American saw the most significant growth. Additionally, Asia lead the chart while Europe was taken over by America in the middle of the period.
In the beginning, America was the least favorite destination, attracted only 50 million visitors, while the figure for Europe was tripple, at 150 millions. Asia was the top destination by attracting nearly 400 million tourists, remarkbly doubled the figure of Europe at the same year.
From 2000 to 2020, the number of tourist in all countries increased gradually, with America recorded the most notable and steady growth, climbing to approximately 240 million visitors in 2014 and took over Europe to become the second rank in the chart. This figure then countined to rise to around 450 millions in the rest of the period. Despite its increase, Europe saw a slower growth with fluctuations. It increased by the figure of American in 2014, before declinced slightly to around 200 million in the next year to become the least attractive destination among three coountries. Then, it recovered to around 280 million tourist in 2020 before a slip to 260 millions in the next year.
