Overall, total population of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand had an increase over the course of 50 years. Meanwhile, the percentage of Phillippines was varied between 1970 and 2020. But, population projections indicate that four of the nations will be soared after 2020, with Malaysia as the highest individuals and Thailand as the lowest.
In 1970, two out of four asian nations mentioned had the highest percentage of people, and that is Philippines and Malaysia at around 31% and 30% consecutively. For over 20 years, Malaysia took a climb into approximately 45%, whereas Philippines’ percentages peaked slightly and then soared into about 48%. After 1990, both of them had a different trend. Malaysia consistently getting higher into around 75% in 2020, while Philippines hit a low first at around 41% in 2010, and then increased a little into approximately 42%. In the next 20 years, both of the countries are estimated to peak at around 81% for Malaysia and 50% for Philippines at the end of 2040.
Followed by them are two asian countries with the lowest number of people, Thailand and Indonesia at around 17% and 15% in order. Two of them gave the same trend until 2000 and reached the same percentages of exactly 30%, with Thailand had the same percentages from 1990 to 2000. For over 20 years, Indonesia’s population took a peek dramatically into 50%, higher than Philippines, whereas Thailand increased slightly at just 32%. The same trend as Malaysia and Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand forecasted to have a climb in their population at around 60% and 48% respectively.
