It is clear that the number of people who were in the 18-25 age group visiting GYM once per month or more changed dramatically during the given period. Additionally, this infrastructure experienced a slight increase in the figure for individuals who were over 65.
In 1984, the percentage of people who were 26-45-year-old visiting GYM was highest, at 30%, which was six times as high as the figure for gym goers who were over 65. The proportions of individuals who were in the 46-65 age group and 18-25-year-old coming to GYM once a month or more were 25% and 15%, respectively.
During the given period, the proportion of gym goers who were between 18 and 25 years old increased significantly by 60% to 75%. There was gradual growth by approximately 30% to nearly 60% in the figure for gym goers who were in the 26-45 age group. Whereas, the year 2003 saw a considerable decline in the percentage of people aged 46-65 visiting GYM, dropping 15%, the lowest figure for that year. At the same time, the figure for gym goers who were 65 years old and older went up slightly from 5% to 20%.
