The line graph illustrates the percentage of households with five different kind of technology namely, CD player, telephone, computer, internet, DVD player, in the UK between 1997 and 2001.
Overall, the percentage of all five households technology rose noticeably with. However, the houses with CD player technology led in top of the statistics with noticeable figure.
The Households which had technology of DVD player started with about 28 percent in 1997. and this figure dropped to around 16 percent in 1998, before reaching to 50 percent in 2001. Starting with just 10 percent in 1997, the households with internet technology rose to 60 percent in 2001. Houses with technology of telephone started with only 20 percent in 1997, and this figure increased to around 75 percent in 2001.
The family which had CD player started with respective figure of 60 percent in 1997, and this was followed by noticeable increase to 80 percent in 2001, showing the most popular technology in households. The family with technology of computer was 40 percent in 1997, and this proportion rose with upward trend, reaching to 70 percent in 2001.
