The given bar chart provides data on the amount of tea and coffee imported, in tonnes, by four different countries, namely Canada, the UK, the USA, and Germany in the year of 2007.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that tea was more popular than coffee in the UK and the USA, while the opposite trend was observed in Canada and Germany. Among all four countries, the UK imported the highest quantity of tea, whereas Canada had the highest coffee imports.
Looking at the chart in detail, the UK imported the largest amount of tea at 160,000 tonnes, which was significantly higher than any other country. Its coffee imports were relatively low, at around 20,000 tonnes. The USA ranked second in tea imports, bringing in approximately 120,000 tonnes, while also importing about 40,000 tonnes of coffee.
Canada, on the other hand, imported around 80,000 tonnes of coffee, four times more than its tea imports, which is about 20,000 tonnes. Germany showed a more balanced pattern, importing approximately 50,000 tonnes of coffee and 40,000 tonnes of tea.
