The line graph illustrates the total of time depended to make a vehicle by four different Us-based car firms – Nissan, Daimer Chrysler, General Motors, Ford – between 1998 and 2002.
Overall, there was a general decline in production time for most manufacturers over the period, with Nissan consistently taking the least time, and Daimler Chrysler the most.
In detail, Ford took lead however, after 2000 the amount of time used to produce car continuously increased until 2001. After 2001 Ford saw small decline and in 2002 it ranked third with around 27 hours for car. Also General Motors had third rank in list with 32hiurs for car, nonetheless the quantity of hours for car gradually declined from 32 hours to 26 hours over the period.
On the other hand Nissan was the last in list of Us-based vehicle manufactures with 37 hours for one car,but after Nissan had sharp decline until 2000 from 37 hours to 24 hours. In addition, after 2000 it had also saw gradually reduce from 24 hours to 21 hours. Furthermore, Daimer Chrysler had sharp decline too, however only until 1999 and it maintained stable until small decrease which was over the period between 2001 and 2002.
