The graph represents how three various companies implemented substantial changes regarding how they manage the waste production throughout a decade and a half.
It can be seen that in the year 2000, these three companies had different amounts of waste measured in tonnes, ranging form three tonnes to quadruple of that, at twelve tonnes. Among these companies, the one which has been producing the most, immediately started decreasing the amount of waste that was produced, whilst the other two continued to increase this trend.
However, in 2005 the company represented in green managed to decrease their production and by 2010, it has achieved the reduction of their garbage by three tonnes, also being closely followed by the blue company. Despite this decreasing trend, the company represented in orange still increased their production of waste.
Overall, the graph has a downward trend in terms of the amount of waste being produced, even if one of the companies did not manage to follow the other two.
