Overall, these three metals experience similar changes during 2014. While the nickel prices experienced a significant fluctuation during this year, whereas, copper prices remained stable. Zinc was highest at the end of the year, and other two metals almost remained the same.
Furthermore, In January nickel prices were at highest to 6% compared to zinc which is at 1% and copper at 2% respectively. However, change in nickel prices dropped to 1% in March and it fell dramatically to -3% in June, whereas, zinc Prices reached a peak at 3% in the month after, then ever dropped to -1% in the middle of the year and then initial change occurred till December at 2%.
Additionally, copper was the only metal that remained same from 2% in January and then slightly decreased to -1% in the middle of the period, and this continually slightly rose till December. Although zinc was the smallest change in price in January, it became the highest of these three metals at the end of the year.
