The line graph depict the percentage of average monthly change in prices of copper, nickel and zinc in the year 2014.

Overall, despite some fluctuations, the prices in metals such as nickel and copper experienced a downward trend, while zinc witnessed a upward trend throughout the period.

To begin with, nickel showed a rapid decline, starting at 6% in January and reaching -3% by June. After that, this figure rose to -1% in July, maintaining this level untill September. In spite of a few changes, this figure showed an upward trend, and reached at 1% in December. Copper also experienced a gradual fall ,reaching 0% by June. Nevertheless, this level surge to 1% in July and remained constant until September. From there, this proportion finished at around 1.5% by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, zinc followed a contrasting trend, increasing to from 1% in January to 3% in December. However, this figure saw a sharp declined by June reaching at -1%. Although there are some variations, this level hit to 2% by the end of the year.
