Overall, the usage of health clubs in Miami consistently recorded an upward trend from January until the middle of the year, before declining towards the end of 2013. Regarding the age, it is clear that, both male and female aged 21-45 are the most frequent members of the health club compared to people over 65+ and “other’s” category.
In terms of male attendance, it started at 550 members in January 2013, after which inclined gradually and reached its peak trend to nearly 900 attendance. Then the trend of male’s members remained stagnant for about 3 months before it rapidly dropped to close to 600 members in December. In addition, female attendance shows quite a similar trend. The starting point was 500 members in January and it rose moderately until June at more than 700 members. The highest trend was in August and September 2013 in which approximately more than 730 female members attended the health club.The decreasing trend is shown in the last three months and reached 600 members at the end of 2013.
Turning to the age membership, it is inferred that for those who aged 21-45 both male and female had the highest attendance in the health club in Miami, Florida. While the second most frequent attendance was those who aged 65+ both male and female, the “other’s” category was the lowest attendance among all.
