The line graph give information about the number UK communters who travelling ever day by three different public transport over a period of 60 years.
It can be seen from the graph that there were a significant increases in two transport commuters which were train and car, while the number of UK bus commuters experienced a slight decline between 1970 and 2030.
In 1970, around 5 million of UK commuters travelled by car, while bus and train were used just under 4 and 3 million people respectively. In 2000, the number of those driving to work by car reached 7 million and the number of rail users rose to 3 million. However , there was a small drop of approximately 0.5 million in the number of bus users.
By 2030, it is predicted that the number of people who commute by car will grow up gradually to just under 9 million graduallly and the figure for train also will show at approximately 5 million users. By contrust , buses are predicted to become a less popular. with only 3 million daily users.
