Overall, it is clear that men retired in the age which older than women in all countries. Moreover, Italy’s citizens stopped working earlier than other countries.
Regarding the men, the average age of retirement in Korea was 68 years 8 months which was higher than that in Japan and the US, with 67 years 4 months and 65 years 6 months, respectively. These were followed by the figures for Australia (64 years 1 month) and Italy (58 years 2 months) while the lowest date of male citizens was seen in France with 57 years 4 months.
In terms of the women, Korea even owned the highest age of citizens stropping working, at 67 years 2 months in comparison with 66 years and 9 months for the age in Japan. Additionally, residents in US entered their pension phase at 64 years 2 months while the figure for Australia was 63 years 5 months. Besides, approximately 57 years was the average age of retirement in both Italy and France.
