The graph illustrates the time spent producing vehicles by four different car manifactures in the US in 1998 and 2005. Overall, all four car manifacture’s average production time decreased dramatically over the period.
General motors showed the largest decrease, falling in creating one vehicle from 32 hours to 22 hours, which is the biggest fall at the time spent on constructing one car. By conrtast, Ford had increasing in the hours spend on creating one car from 1998 to 2001 and reaching its peak at the point of 31 hours. However from 2001 to 2005 average time amount fell from 31 to the point of approximately 22 hours respectively.
In terms of Toyota and Honda, they had simmilar poin of start in 1998 and last point in 2005. Even though they started similary, in next year toyota’s averag time rose to 23 hours, whereas honda’s time showed decline to 21 hour. However, in 2002 they met up on point of 24 hours per vehicle, and both fell to 20 hours to one car by the 2005.
