The chart illustrate how the consumption of fish and some different types of meat in European countries have changed between 1979 and 2004.
In general, the chicken rocket significantly meanwhile the beef and lamb drop slowly. The fish relatively remained constant and was consistently the least preferred option throughout the period.
The beef became the most consumed by people in 1984 at 250 grams. From 1984 to 1989, the beef consumption remained stable at below 250 grams. The beef consume rate had a similar downtrend with the lamb intake from 1984 to to 2004. The beef and lamb consume rate declined steadily from 1989 over the following decade when the beef down from 200 grams to below 150 grams nd the lamb down from below 150 grams to below 100 grams.
In contrast, chicken intake showed a significant increasing trend. The chicken became the highest rate for 25 years at 250 grams. The fish almost stagnant in 50 grams over the following decade.
