The consumption of 4 types of meat in a European country during the period between 1974 and 2004 is illustrated in the line graph. There are represented meat of chicken, bees, lamb and fish.
Every graph fluctuates in a short period of time, but if we look at all the years shown, there are particular trends for each type of meat. The use of the chicken shows a strong positive trend with the lowest point in 1974 and a peak between 1999 and 2004. At the same time, the beef and lamb lines have meaningful negative trends hitting the highest point between 1979 and 1984 and having the lowest amount of consumption between 1999 and 2004. The last type is fish that represents the calmest tendency, but it is still negative with a peak in 1979 and a low spot between 1999 and 2004.
Some of the lines have significant features, for example, the lamb and the chicken start from the same point, but their difference at the end is dramatic. The beef, despite hitting a local low after 1979, is holding a leader position till 1989 When it is overtaken by the chicken. The fish line is not great during the whole period of time, but it is the most stable one.
