The table gives information about how much fish and three various meats(Chicken, beef and lamb) did Europeans consume from 1979 to 2004. Units are measured in grams per capita per week.
Overall, it is clear that, the consumption of chicken moderately escalated, whereas the reverse was true for the expending of beef and lamb. Fish, on the other hand, the consumption of it was maintaining the same level.
Turning to the details, in 1979, the use of beef was approximately 220 grams while that of lamb was 150 grams. Interestingly, both of them insignificantly dropped without going to 1984. However, the consumption of beef drastically ascended by roughly 60 although that of lamb slightly rose. Substantially, almost, neither of them experienced increase until 2004. At the end of the time frame, the utilization of beef and lamb reached to nearly 120 and 80 grams.
As for Chicken, at the beginning of the period, it was consumed from almost 150 grams although later this figure decreased unnoticeably. After that, it experienced an upward trend until at the end of the period. In 2004, it had reached a peak of just over 250 grams per week. In terms of the least consumed type of meat, Fish remain unchanged during the time frame. Its rate was approximately 50 grams per week.
