Overall, cheese is consumed widely compared to low-fat icream which is consumed the least. Yogurt utilization increased sharply over the years wherease ice-cream with full fats declined.
In details, cheese consumption were at around 2.5 pounds per person in 1970, which rose sharply in 1985 and reached to around 17 pounds per person in 1985 and eventually peaked the chart at above than 20 pounds per person in 2010.
In contrast to cheese, there was decline in usage of low-fat icecream. It was above 10 pounds per person till 1990, after which were below 10 and fluctuated but newer again crossed the mark of 10 till the 2010. However, there was a significant rise in utilization of yogurt. Its consumption was zero in 1970 but after 2000 it crossed the mark of 5 pounds per person and reached 10 punds per person in final year.
Finally, low-fat icecream was steady during this whole time period where it never rose above 5 pounds per person till 2010.
