Overall, the consumption of cheese and yogurt increased over the given period, while for full-fat ice cream, it decreased slightly. The trend of low-fat ice cream was unique in which it remained stable over the period given.
The consumption of cheese rose significantly which started at around 7 pounds in 1970 and reached a peak of over 20 pounds at the end of the year. With regards to the amount of yogurt, it began at just above 0 and increased gradually to just under 10 in the final year.
On the other hand, approximately 11 pounds of full-fat ice-cream was consumed in the first year and declined marginally to just under 9 pounds in 2010. In terms of low-fat ice cream consumption, it fluctuted at around 4 pounds throughout the whole period, between 1970 and 2010.
