The line graph provided compares how the wheat exports changed in three given country, namely: Australia, Canada and European Community over a five- year period from 1985 to 1990.
Overall, despite some fluctuations, there was an increase in the number of wheat exported in Canada and European coutry, with Canada witnessing the most dramatic rise in general trends. While, the data of Australia experienced a decline throughout the time surveyed.
The figures for Australia, Canada and European Community started at 15 million tonnes, 20 million tones and 17 million tonnes respectively. The wheat exports of Canada and European Community had the same changes in the first period. There was a moderate fall over two ares in 1986, followed by a dramatic growth to reach a peak at 25 million tonnes in Canada in next two years. Whereas, European Community also rose but slightly to 15 million tonnes before remaining constant this figure to 1988. In the latter half of period, wheat exported in Canada witnessed a huge drop to hit a lowest point at under 15 million tonnes but increased quickly to approximately 18 million tonnes in 1990. Over the same time, other area had an upward trends to around 20 million tonnes and also hit the highest figure of it .
Opposite change can be seen in the figure of wheat in market outside of Australia, which it experienced a minimal rise in 1986 after that drop gradually before ending the period at 12 million tonnes
