The line chart compares three region in terms of export of the wheat between 1985 and 1990.
Overall, different region experienced different trend in the period. While the wheat export in the Canada and European community rose with some fluctuations, the export in Australia fell down over the period.
Regarding Australia’s wheat export, It started at 15 millions of tons in 1985 followed by a small increase to around 17 millions of tons in 1986. Then, It declined steadily until it fell down to just above 10 millions of tons in 1990. On the other hand, In 1985 Canada exported 19 millions tons of wheat. This figure went down to 18 millions of tones in the following year. After that, It witnessed a significant increase in the next two years and reached a peak, at 25 millions of tons in 1988. Then, the figure plunged to just below 15 million in 1989 but then subsequently witnessed a increase to just under 20 millions of tons.
On the other hand, wheat export from the European community increased gradually in the six years period. In 1985, they shipped around 17 millions tons of wheat, but this figure fell down to around 14 millions of tons in 1986 before witnessing a slight increase to 15 millions of tons in 1987. The number remained constant until 1988, then it experienced steady growth to around 19 millions tons and just over 20 millions of tons in 1989 and 1990, respectively.
