The line graph presents data on weekly hospital admissions across five hospitals in a European country between 2004 and 2018: Fortsmith, Adlin, Stanton, Bardley, and Oxley.
Overall, all hospitals experienced an increase during this period; however, Oxley was the only hospital that saw a significant drop. Bardley’s admission figures remained relatively consistent throughout the period and outnumbered every other hospital following a sharp incline in 2006. In contrast, Oxley’s admission figures notably dropped in 2006, and by the end of the period, it had the lowest admissions, despite its earlier figures in 2004.
Fortsmith’s weekly hospital admissions fluctuated around 200 for the entire period, maintaining third place in 2018. In contrast, the number of people admitted to Adlin rose dramatically from just over 100 in the first year to 250 by 2018, boosting its position from fourth to second place. As for Stanton, approximately 70 people were admitted in 2008, and this gradually climbed to slightly over 150 by 2018, which was above Oxley.
