Overall , the percentage of immigration in China and Japan experienced an upword trend over the whole period , while the opposite could be observed in the case of those preferring in Russia , declining noticably between 1960 and 2020.
Turning the details, we can see a negative tendency in the figure for immigration rate in Russia . In 1960, being the highest of all at that year , but over the four decades saw a decline of about 3% . However this figure increased slightly to 5% in 2020.
If we looked at Japan and China , we can see positive tendencies. The percentage of people who immigrated in Japan was around 12 % in 1960 . However, this figure saw a marginal decline to 10% between 1960 and 1980 , and this figure increased slightly from 10 %to 15 %over the next period. Regarding China ,being the lowest at the beginning of the period ,but rate of immigration witnessed increase from 20 %in 1980 to 25% in 2000 .
