This graph depicts how the monthly income varied in three British car industries for the 2000 financial years.
Overall, it is clear that most of the trends experienced an upward trend. In contrast, Acme Sports Cars exhibited an opposite pattern over the period from April 1999 to March 2000.
In April, Acme Sports Cars had the highest monthly profits amongst three companies. In the next 2 months, it started to fall gradually. After that, the profit rise significantly followed by a sharp decline for 3 months, reaching the bottom of 10000 pounds at the end of the second quarter. Subsequently, it began to climb up steadily before being leveled off from November to January. Although the income still increased slightly in 2000, Acme Sports Cars was by far earned the lowest income of all three industry in the last quarter of the period.
On the other hand, both Branson Motors and Curtis Car Mart witnessed an inverse pattern in April. The profit of two industries was then increased considerably until September, with 60 and 40 thousand pounds respectively. It was also notable that after the surge, Branson Motors fluctuated slightly in the earnings while Curtis Car Mart showed a dramatic rise. At the end of the period, there were substantial growths in the earnings of the two industries. Nevertheless, Curtis Car Mart just doubled in the profit, which is the highest income with 80,000 pounds.
