The provided graph illustrates the quantity of enquiries received by the Tourist Information office in a single city over a period of half-year in 2011. The graph displays three lines, representing enquiries received in person (orange line), enquiries received by letter/email, and enquiries received by telephone. The horizontal axis represents the six month period from January to June 2011, while the vertical axis indicates the number of enquiries, ranging from 0-2000.
In January, the number of enquiries received in person was almost above 400, as indicated by the orange line. Afterwards, the trend grew up steadily to reach 800 in March, and this growth continued rapidly to hit its highest point at just under 2000 in June.
In January, the figure for the telephone enquiries mounted for just under 1000. Similarly to the in person enquiries , the trend experienced steady growth, with a period of stability between March and April. Later on the trend reached its peak at 1600 enquiries in June.
In contrast, the number of enquiries received by letter/email showed a steady decline, after it comprised just a little under 800 enquiries in January, then the trend showed a consistent decline to get as low as less than 400 enquiries in May. Eventually the trend remained stable May and June.
Overall, the graph shows a steady growth in the number of enquiries received by letter/mail and in person. But on the other hand the case was totally different in regard to the ones received by letter/email which experienced a consistent decrease.
