The line chart displayed the amount of enquiries sent to the Tourist Information Office in one city between January and June in 2011. Overall, throughout the period, the rate of requests received in person and that of requests received through telephone both saw an upward trend. However, the opposite could be observed for queries sent by letter or email.
In January, it is evident that enquiries sent via telephone was largest, standing at approximately 900. The figure for questions asked through letter or email was lower, almost reaching 800. In-person enquiries accounted for the lowest number, at about 400.
Over the period, the number of queries in person witnessed a considerable increase, reaching a peak of nearly 2000. After slightly fluctuating from January to April, the quantity of enquiries received by telephone saw a surge from about 1000 in April to approximately 1600 in June, while that of requests received by letter or email gradually decreased to nearly 400 in June.
