The line graph presents information about the number of library books read by different gender at Starmouth School between 2009 and 2012.
In general, there was an upward trend in the number of books read by female students. Male students read more books from 2009 to 2011, however, finally, they are lower than the girls in 2012.
According to the given graph, both trends were upward in the tuwo-year period, from 2009. There were more the boys reading books than the girls in 2009, the number of books were approximately 60 books and over 20 books respectively. There was a slight increase in books numbers of boys and a dramatically rise in books numbers of girls.
In 2011, both of them had the same number of books read with 100 books. It went up slowly by 20 books for boys and considerably by 60 books for girls. Nevertheless, after a year, there was a big difference, the figure for the boys dropped gradually by 20 books while the girls reached a peak at 140 books in 2012.
