The provided line graph illustrates how many library books read by boys and girls at Starmouth School from between 2006 and now. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that number of girls rose significantly over the period, unlike the number of boys who rose at the beginning and declined at the end.
Initially, in 2009, boys were slightly higher than girls with approximately numbers of book 50 and 25, respectively. Then, the figure rose significantly, and in 2010, boys read 80 books, two times higher than 40.
On the other hand, in 2010, boys and girls were equal with the 100 books for each one and, also, boys were at their peak point. After which, boys declined dramaticly while the girls increased gradually. At the end of the period, girls hit their peak point at around 140 books meanwhile, boys decreased to just 80 books.
