The line graph shows changes in how many tourists come from the other side of the ocean to three different places in an unspecified European country from 1987 to 2007. Overall, the figures for all areas increased, albeit to varying degrees. It is also clear that the coast stood out among other areas with higher figures many times throughout the period.
The coast and the lakes show somewhat similar changes. The figure for the coast started at almost 40 thousand visitors (t.v.) in 1987, a figure that then decreased noticeably to about 30 (t.v.) in 1992. After increasing to approximately 55 (t.v.), it rose further in 2007, reaching 70 (t.v.). Furthermore, despite ranking at the bottom, the figure for the lakes increased dramatically to 30 (t.v.) in 1992, which started at 10 t.v. in 1987. After this, it wildly fluctuated and eventually leveled off at about 55 (t.v.).
The mountains had relatively smaller numbers. While the figure for the mountains was the second stage in 1987, it remained unchanged at about 20 (t.v.), after which it was outstripped by the lakes. Enduring a decade, it mildly fluctuated, and in the end, it stopped at 30 (t.v.).
