At the first glance,it is clear that number of people that visited United Kingdom for holidays fluctuated over the period of time but ended up with positive position in the chart.Individuals who visited their family and friends had rapid increase but experienced a downward trend in the end. Visitors that came for business purposes had fluctuation at the beginning,over the period it increased and then declined rapidly.
About 6,5 million of people visited UK for having a vocation ,This number increased rapidly and reached its peak(9 million).Unless the postive trends lasted only from 1989 to 1997, number of tourists sharply declined untill its previous stage(6,5 million). In 2005 this number had slight increase to around 0,5 million,from that moment it started increasing and almost was higher for 2,5 million in 2009 than it was in 1989.
Individuals whose intention was only meeting their parents and fellows experienced gradual increase from 1989 to 2007. 2007 was the year when this number reached its plateau of 7 million people.However in the final year its dipped into nearly 6,1 million.Number of Foreign people who came for business purposes has rapid changes, in 1989 it started with 5 million but this number then decreased to 4 million, but then continiued increasing until 2006 but then plunged into 7 million in 2009.
