With regard to closures, it started with approximately 6200 shops in 2011. After one year, it had slightly decreased by 300 shops. However, in 2015, it substantially declined from 6500 to 900 shops. As well, between 2016 and 2018, the number of shops stabilized.
In 2011, the opening of shops was at its peak. But later in the year, it fell from 8500 to 3900 shops. However, from 2012 to 2014, it went up and stands at 6100 shops. Furthermore, between 2014 and 2015, it gradually came down. Furthermore, from 2015 to 2017, the number of shops leveled off at nearly 4000. But in 2018, it dropped by 1000 shops and remained at 3000 shops.
