Overall, students from the UK showed a downward trend, whereas the USA experienced an increase throughout the period. It is also clear that the USA had the highest number of students in the 2002, while Australia stood apart from others with the lowest figure in the same year.In detail, students from the USA who studied in other countries accounted for 50,000 in 2002, but then this figure saw a slight decrease to 45,000 by 2004. However, by the end of the period this country subsequently recovered to initial level at 50,000 over a 5-year period.
Turning to the other countires were the UK and Australia. Moreover, the UK had 30,000 students in 2002, and until 2003 this country remained unchaned, while by 2007 there was a gradual decline to almost 20,000. Conversely, Australia represented the lowest number of students only at 10,000 in 2002, but by the end of timeframe this figure remained unchanged.
