The table compares the number of male and female students studying six different courses at a British university in 2014.
Overall, male students outnumbered female students in most courses, except for English and Gender Studies, where females were more numerous. The highest number of students was enrolled in Business Administration, followed by Accountancy.

Accountancy followed, with 1,240 male students and 1,220 female students, while English had 800 males and 850 females. Both genders showed a similar pattern in these three courses.
In the remaining courses, the gender difference was more pronounced. In Various Engineering, there were 500 male students, which is 300 more than the 200 female students. Similarly, Chinese had 200 males compared with only 50 females. Conversely, Gender Studies attracted 100 females but only 20 males.
