The given line graph illustrates the figure for graduation of Canadian universities by gender throughout the years 1992 to 2007. As can be seen from the graph, there is an upward trend in graduation in both females and males over the time; however, the number of female graduates is much higher than the graduation of male.
According to the graph, the number of female graduates increased from nearly 100,000 individuals in 1992 to around 105,000 three years later. After experiencing a slight decrease to 100,000 people in 1998, it increased significantly to 110,000 people in 2002. The number of female graduates increased sharply to a peak at nearly 150,000 people by 2007.
In contrast, the number of male graduates is much lower. Only around 70,000 individuals graduated in 1992 and increased to around 76,000 people in 1995. Following a decline from 1996 to 2001, the number of male graduates increased steadily to around 95,000 individuals by 2007.
