The bar chart illustrates information about how many people visit three museums of NY and China from 2000 to 2005.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there were considerable upward trend in the number of visitors of both MET and National museums, while the highest Edo -Tokyo experienced gradual decrease.
Looking at the detail, as regards MET museum in New York, it contains 12 million people in 2000 and then these dropped to 6 million in 2001 , remained same one year and then constantly rose throughout the entire period. By contrast, National museum in China was the lowest one. Having a sharply increase from 6 million in 2000 to about 11 million in 2003, its levelled off until 2024, after which reached the peak at approximately 16 million in 2005 and became the most visited museum.
If we look at Edo-Tokyo museum, it is clear that the data went to opposite direction. In 2000 the number of visitors was adout 13.5 million and remain same in 2001. After that, despite dramatically fall to just over 6million in 2003, its then sharply rose to 10 million in 2005.
