Overall, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Alabama reached their highest peaks for employment in the motorbike manufacturing industry at above 100,000, 40,000, 10,000 and 10,000 in 1990, 1995, 2003, and 2007 respectively. The government states that the high number of employments in Michigan and Ohio states were hugely decreased from 2000 to 2010 with dramatically drop from 100,000 to 40,000 and 40,000 to 20,000 for Michigan and Ohio states. Moreover, the line graph indicates that the employments fluctuated from 1990 to 2000. This is more clear for Michigan state. It recovered at the end of period with a slight increase for Ohio and became stable for Michigan from 2009 to 2010.
In contrast, number of employments gradually rose from 1990 to 2003 before becoming flat for Indiana and Alabama states.
