The following line graph illustrates the number of whole milk and Low-fat Milk consumption in United States, during 45-year period, from 1970 to 2015.
Generally, it is clear that ,in comparison to whole milk, low-fat milk had considerably less amount of consumers in 2015.
There was a significant decrease in whole milk utilization, from 25 to about 14, during 1970-1990 year period. While, Low-fat Milk usage was increasing gradually from just over 5 to 14, respectively. However, from 1990 to 2010, Low-fat Milk consumption reamained a flat, making up 14. The pattern for Whole Milk continued to decreasing gradually to just over 5.
At the end of the period, Low-Fat Milk intake made just over 13, while Wholde Milk intake was about 5.
In general, we can clearly see that the vast majority of people used Low-fat Milk instead of Whole MIlk, since 1970 to 2015.
