In this graph, we can see that the whole milk has a descending line, whereas the low-fat milk has a somewhat ascending line. This shows the stark contrast between the two milks, where 1990 being the year that both milks are equal to each other.
The graph shows that the peak of the whole milk is approximately at 25 gallons in the year 1970, whereas low-fat milk being at its trough in the same year at about 6 gallons. The line of whole milk rapidly decreases until the year 2000 where it starts slowing down and stopping at year 2015. On the otherhand, The graph line for low-fat milk increases sharply until the year 1990, where it reaches its peak at about 14 gallons. Then, the line becomes constant at 14 gallons until the year 2010, where it slightly descends to 13 gallons.
Overall, this graph clearly suggests that people consumes low fat milk more as the year increases.
