The graph illustrates the export rate from Australia to Japan, US, China and India between 1990 and 2012.
Overall, the higgest percentage of Australian products were exported in China during that period. However, Japan and US got good rate of exported products from Australia in 13 year- period. In contrast, India recorded the lowest percentage of exports.
In 1990, Australian products sent to Japan were below 5%. The line consistent increase to more than 25% in 2010, before reaching a slowly rise to 5% in 2000. It then, picked up to 30% in 2012, and becoming the most important country for Australian economy. In constrast, India reached the same percentage of exports as Japan in 1990, it rose to more than 5% in 2010, but the line dropped to 2% in 2012.
Initially, the Australian exports in Japan were above 25%, after witnessed a decline trend to 20% in 1995, the line gradually decreased to 17%, ranking second on the graph. Although, Australia exported in 1990, more than 10% of products to US, then it fluctuated between 9% and 12%, in 1995 and 2000, respectively, though the line decreased to 6% in 2010.
